MSSI RELEASES COMMERCIAL VERSION OF NEXT GENERATION UWB RADAR SENSOR

Germantown, MD – October 12, 2007 – Multispectral Solutions, Inc. (MSSI) announces the commercial release of RaDeKL, the latest entry in MSSI’s continually expanding line of ultra wideband (UWB) product offerings.  RaDeKL, an acronym which stands for “Radar Development Kit – Lite”, is a miniature, low power radar sensor which utilizes MSSI’s patented short pulse UWB technology to provide very high resolution target detection for a wide variety of applications including Intrusion Detection, Vehicular Obstacle and Collision Avoidance, Remote Sensing and others.

The RaDeKL sensor is certified for unlicensed commercial use under the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) most recent regulations for wideband transmitter technology (Part 15.250, FCC ID: QCJRADEKL).  The compact, self contained, radar system requires only 12VDC power and utilizes a standard USB 2.0 interface for communications/control.  Operational specifications are as follows:

RaDeKL includes the integrated UWB radar sensor, supporting software drivers and a graphical user interface (GUI) application for simple radar operation and control. The GUI application permits the graphical display of radar return data and data logging for additional return signal post-processing.
