UWB active tag technology for RFID and RTLS applications has demonstrated key performance advantages including long read ranges, sub-foot localization in dense industrial environments, extended battery life, high throughput and extremely small physical size. Dr. Robert Fontana received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. He has thirty-five years of experience in the areas of RF, microwave and UWB design.
